Exduct Referral Giveaway for BLF users - add ?aff_id=17 to url

Hi BLFers,

I have always wanted to contribute more to the forum and since I don't have anything impressive to offer, I thought this would be a good idea. I have been a huge fan of our BLFgiveaway promotion so far. I have also been inspired by the generosity of great members like brted and I have set up my a referral link to exduct which gets 5 3% commision through all orders made after clicks through it. All you need to do to use it is to add "?aff_id=17" to the end of any exduct page before adding items to your cart and checking out. For example, here are thinks to the special products page and the home page:

The nice thing is this can work in conjunction with the coupon codes like BLFgiveaway. I guess the main person that loses here is jackyhu (tell me if you don't like this plan) but I figure you might get some more sales from the people that win the giveaways. My plan is too keep this going as a recurring thing. I will update the next post with a screenshot of the current referral balance to keep things transparent. Once it hits $100 I will have a separate giveaway thread for that balance.

Here's my plan:

- Either $5 to 20 users or $10 to 10 users. Let me know your input, I think more prizes to more users will be fun. $5 bucks will be like free shipping on one knife.

- Everyone who is a BLF member before the balance hits the giveaway time will be eligible. I will use random.org when the time comes to pick winners.

- I think the payouts will be via paypal, so technically you don't have to use it at exduct, but maybe we can institute some honor system or something that you'll use it at exduct.com

Update 19 July 2013 - With the new exduct site update, the coupons are gone and the referral amount is now 3%. My plan is still the same going forward.

Is is set for 8% off your order and 2% commission once per user. I am not sure it is still working as my link to that was giving me a 404 error. I would recommend you use BLFgiveaway anyway since it makes you eligible for the other raffle.

Here's the balance as of 3-16-2012. I made an order myself to make sure the referral was working. Plus used the BLFgiveaway code. Everything looked like it went through fine. The affiliate coupon code and referral balances don't add together, so stick with BLFgiveaway.

What is the EL-01 do you have a link?

Up to $30.77 now. Thanks to everyone who is participating. I hope they come out with some cool new knives because I am running out of blades that I want need to buy. I guess a sharp piece of steel doesn't go outdated quite as fast as a little piece of phosphor-covered, doped silicon. Then again if they made all the same models I have with better steels for low prices I would buy them again I bet. The budget gear buyer's dilemma.

When ordering from exduct, add referal-link to product before adding. This way, you do your part for two raffles. This one and the coupon-raffle.

I think I will keep updating this, but I am not sure what’s happening with jackyhu and exduct.com. They haven’t responded to the winners of the 9th or 10th raffle yet and it has been months. I hope this will come as a paypal payment which I can personally divvy out.

I was able to contact Jacky and get my old balances cashed out. Giveaway incoming. I won’t vigilantly keep this up after this, but if I ever get another email for a payout I will revisit this.

I bought a “poor man’s Sebenza” That would be a SRM 710 and another SRM The Sanrenmu SRM 612, I like this style knife for easy open and easy closing. The 710 is a clone of a $500+ knife.

They were both in the promotional section for dirt cheap. The 710 was the black one so it’s actually a B4710. Just over $15 for both of these knives is a steal, coupon or not but of course with the coupon it’s just impossible to beat.
